The Departed (2006)

Martin Scorsese has directed concert films about The Rolling Stones as old, old men that are less detrimentally obsessed with boomer rock than The Departed is. I feel like I would have liked this 100% more if it had a score and not a mix cd put together by an uncle playing around with his new CD burner. Whalberg and Baldwin sound like they’re doing impressions of themselves doing impressions of someone from Boston. Matt Damon wearing an America hat to the porn theater is like Rob Lowe wearing an NFL hat to an NFL game.
